Ultra update.... wouldn't start after pulling over on the I-90 west to put on rain gear. Everything appeared to be ok, i.e. fob key, disingaged fob key, disconnected battery to re-set..... all the right lights and sounds.... no start. So after a short wait, AAA towing to Deluxe Gillette Harley.... full electrical digonstic. finding nothing ... the service manager pulled out the hardend plastic malet and with one gentle persuasive strike on the starter..... the Ultra drew new breath and started!.
I must acknowledge my co- Sturgis riding friends advice I ignored. (because he wanted to beat the starter with a 100 UV can of sun screen). He was right!
